Despite being only our second hotel (I was previously a primary school teacher and Mal has been a haulier on and off for some 15 years) we are now entering our fourth year at the Raincliffe.  Our sole aim is to offer all our guests' unrivalled comfort, value, quality and peace of mind - a 100% positive experience. 

We strive to maintain a pleasant and homely atmosphere at the hotel, while our personal attention to cuisine and hygiene and ongoing refurbishments (over £100,000 of investment) greatly contribute to the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests.  We are the only hotel used by Anglolang International School of English and the only hotel with a 7 minute DVD presentation.   Our warmth and friendship impresses so many new guests to the Hotel each year; try the Raincliffe yourself by telephoning for our free colour brochure and find out why so many of our delighted guests have no hesitation in coming back to Scarborough and the Raincliffe again.

Our residents’ lounge and dining room are spacious south facing rooms that both overlook the hotel gardens; watch the television, a DVD or Video or even the fish in the tank!  Enjoy a drink from our well-stocked bar or sit outside in the hotel garden while the sun shines.

Spoil yourself and choose from our extensive menu, prawn mousse wrapped in smoked salmon or creamy garlic mushrooms with cracked black peppers for starters, or a full range of steaks and selection of fish dishes for main course.  Our menu is available on request.

Our breakfast will not leave you feeling hungry, choose from: cereals or grapefruit, fruit juice and full English breakfast.
